CFW's are more Live safe then ODDE's (if you have correctly patched backups etc)
I'd rather stick with the traditional methods of constandly flashing firmwares then risk my ass on a ODDE.
That's not completely correct.
As said before, you risk your bum with both methods. Fact is that iXtreme LT caused some flags/bans with the latest CIV/AP2.5-Checks, eventhough the rips/dumps were alright (but the burns/firmware wasn't). Fact is also that until now, nobody got banned by using an XKey online (though c4eva claims so,
but it's a competition between him and the ODEs, so I don't take his words that seriously on this topic and no other bans were reported). Fact is also that an XKey could emulate the FW closer than iXtreme LT ever will be able to (see
here). Right now, we don't know if they are already doing this, but I'm only talking about numbers here. Not to mention that the recent "silver bullet" for AP2.5 which the "great" c4eva found was simply stolen from the XKey-Team. And while they have the update already out, LT+-Users are left waiting for weeks/months.
So basicly all I'm saying is that both could/will lead to a ban, and that the CFW isn't necessarily safer than an ODE. You can't say that right now, as the ODEs are new and fresh on the market, so we can't compare it to the CFW which has been here for years. I get the idea that you want to stick to the method that worked until now, but speaking for me, I see all the benefits of an ODE, so I'll wait until christmas/the dash update, and then I'll gamble a bit and buy one. It's cheaper than having to send my Xbox in after every CFW-Update, and probably more future-proof.
