i got a modded switch from ebay a few months ago and it came with a bad fan and battery, it constantly overheated and dead extremely fast so i bought a battery and fan it replace them. when i replaced the fan and battery everything went smooth till i went to turn my switch back on and realized that it started in stock form. so i opened it back up and noticed two of the wires for the chip had broken off of the board on the switch. i tried contacting the original seller about it and got no reply. i can get a soldering iron and know how to use it but i dont know or can find any info on google or anywhere i've asked on help on how to fix it . id greatly appreciate any help pointing me in the right direction on where the wires need to be soldered. the two wires in question are the two in the picture that are out of focus

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
