Well I ordered a new R4DS, because I lost my other one and I'd rather pay 8.50 for a new one than spend hours ripping apart my house, plus because it could be in any of four possible houses so.. yeah. Well, I want to purchase a slot-2 cart with it, for GBA games.. can I accomplish this with the EZFlash 3in1? How would I go about that?

Well depends on the R4 you ordered.
If you ordered a 1:1 original R4 clone that uses Wood R4, it has native 3in1 support for easy GBA rom loading, although not for the 3in1+ without patching.
Otherwise, you can use GBA EXPloader like Marauding mentioned.

EZ Flash 3in1's are great, being able to play regular GBA games, and rom-hacks too.
