Hello I have a strange temperature let me explain I have a custom xbox 360 console Fat , and the thermal paste was replaced depending on the person (because it's not me and I don't know anything about hardware), I trust him but has a big temperature difference between the cpu and the memory let me explain: in cpu there is 58° but in graphics I have 70°, strange? the same also for the memory which is at 70°

those temps are normal for a fat they get very hot ( 85 degree celsius is average working temp)
the first thing what goes hot are the ram chips then gpu and cpu

on an old fat 360 cpu and gpu arent on the same chip maybe he forgot to change the paste on the gpu chip

anyway i would recommend to give youre x360 some kryonaut extreme thermal paste and a fan mod to future proof it more

Chassis: 36.4°
Memory 78.0°
Graphic: 71.6°
processor 58.6°

in my interior at my house it is 27°

don't you find strange the memory and graphics that are so huge?
my fat is in rgh from 2008

the person who put me on this xbox told me who had changed the thermal paste, I can't take it apart because I've done it a few years ago and I'm bad at this kind of thing I do more harm than good by breaking the material so I prefer not disassembled

it's hard to say if that's normal. there shouldn't be that much of a difference in temps between cpu and gpu on a phat. mine are bout 10 degrees difference but that's F, not C. the temps look normal except for your cpu. that's what I'm worried about. it's low unless using temp thresholds. you can raise the tempthresholds in dashlaunch to see if that's the issue. iirc, you can change them for cpu and gpu separately, and they'll be written to the smc of the flash iirc, so they'll carry over if you update or reflash.

yes I thought that was also weird the difference between cpu and gpu but the memory is even more

I am not able nor in my skills for flash and other because it is not me who did it and I do not know the person

memory is typically the highest, so that's normal. do you have dashlaunch?

Rack up the fanspeed if you want them lower, it'll get a little noisy tho.

I think it should only be a 5~8 degree difference between the CPU & GPU, CPU being the cooler of the two.. Atleast it's the case for slims and even PS3s.. I don't think it's any different for Fat 360's..
As suggested above, increase the fan speed to 60~65 or more depending on how you have it set currently, how hot it is where you live, and where the console is located in your room..

same, seems too low unless the sensor is malfunctioning. though, I'd say don't mess with it. if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it, leave it as is unless you encounter a problem. you can never tell with hacked consoles, as you can tell from these boards, consoles are finicky, so they're hard to predict.

I don't know about aurora, but with FSD it's a static speed, so you want to set thresholds (in dashlaunch).

You change the fan speed in Dashlaunch not Aurora.. See where it's set if it's below 50~45 speed then it's too low (for the summer anyway), increase it to 55 or 60, again depends on the environment, and the fan noise shouldn't be too loud/distracting imo at that level..

If u set low fix speed (also because of the noise, the temperatur can get to high. To high and you have hole time noise.
If u set dynamic, if you play, you wont hear the faster fan.

Just as option:
There is also the option to replace the CD- Drive with a 120 mm fan A air tunnel needs to be build. So the air in should trough the CD input hole and left side. Output should be right side and through the colling unit to the back fans.

I'd say set it to 70% orso, good enough.

As for the RAM, tack some copper blocks to them, you can get little heatsinks off off ebay.

I think he may have trouble if he doesn't know what dashlaunch is. the only two options that I can recall from the launch.ini, which he's probably using, is changing C to F, and displaying temps via the guide button. the temp monitoring stuff is done by the smc, so it's not part of the launch.ini. it's recorded there permanently iirc.

look for a folder called "installer" iirc. that will likely be dashlaunch.

Dashlaunch is not a dash like Aurora or FSD.. You should have it installed on your hdd. Enter the file explorer in Aurora and click on the Dashlaunch folder on the hdd, and click on the file there.
If by any chance you don't have it there, download it and put the files on a USB and copy it to the hdd with Aurora.. or ftp directly to the hdd with Xbox360 Neighborhood..

EDIT: Dashlaunch is a module in Aurora. If installed, it should be apear if you press start and go to modul. If its there, it needs maybe to be started.

In Aurora normaly if its installed and runs, it shows then up like a game. If u change to homebrew titels by left or right bumber it should be appear. If you open it, press left bumber for additional systemsettings. Choose " System Info". with the pad you can move beetween the settings. With left stick you can change values.
