Gaming I find that Pokemon Stars is unlike a 3rd version to Sun/Moon

Actually they stopped with a special third edition after Platinum. BW2 aren't third editions of anything.

I feel like if there are Pokemon games unfinished, it had to be X/Y.

I remember reading that Stars was developed together with SuMo which partially explains the performance issues. So I imagine Stars is just the third game akin to Platinum. Maybe expanded to take advantage of the new hardware.

I don't think Pokémon Stars will even be for Nintendo Switch imo. I think the rumour about it being for Nintendo Switch came from 4chan.

But the name "Pokémon Stars" was mentioned by a creditable person though. Sounds like it'll be two new Nintendo 3DS Pokémon games, possibly remakes of Pokémon Yellow.
