But you can't have the same NNID on 2 systems. I want my Nintendo games and Homebrew too. On the same consolesmart would be another switch idk how it will turn out in the future maybe like the PS3
Words of wisdom. The thing is, someone has to choose his side. Either you stay on lower firmware, thus giving up on online gaming and the newest games, but the reward being eventual access to homebrew, or you keep yourself updated to the latest firmware and have immediate access to online gaming and the newest releases, but no homebrew in the near future. The logical thing to do if you want both is to buy a second console, but it's a bit on the expensive side for a hobby. Also just thought I'd add one thing I've seen on the forums which I don't like seeing is when people say "just update your console as we haven't heard anything" - the golden rule for this is ignore people like this. The lower your firmware the better chance you have of being on a hackable firmware.
We'll find away around the E-fuses eventually. Nothing (especially in this situation) is unhackable.Nice great News! Glad i stayed in 3.0.
Even with Homebrew we will be locked at 3.0 right? We cant just use emunand because of efuse. So this means we will never can play new games.
Guess ill Update. I want play the new Mario and the botw so badly. Or is there a chance to bypass efuse and get a cfw? Sorry if this is a stupid question im new to this scene.

AFAIK efuse firmware check only occurs at boot, so in theory we could launch emuNAND without rebooting we may be able to have updated emuNAND without a panic. I could be completely wrong though.Nice great News! Glad i stayed in 3.0.

Correct, but that's if the updated EmuNAND would be compatible with the older SysNAND bootloader and FIRM's.AFAIK efuse firmware check only occurs at boot, so in theory we could launch emuNAND without rebooting we may be able to have updated emuNAND without a panic. Im more hoping for a patch/release that keeps the entry point open while you can still updateWow. This is great news. Too bad Nintendo found it out already.
Updated to 3.0.1 when the update came out. Well, you basically have to for Odyssey anyway, and playing online for other games for sure.
Let's hope another big bug/exploit is coming.
well hot damn, i edited this as well , how should i put it, i will just keep my switch updated and i will buy only the games i really want. It's already been known to be patched in 3.0.1 and if you want to buy one on 3.0.0 you gotta buy one soon because they start coming out with updates quick. You probably only have a few weeks at most to buy them on 3.0 or lower.
