Hacking How to Patch Games with an arm7.bin file..

the error says:

hmmm, Did you follow the steps properly.?? Tell me what you did, step by step.. I have heard of this problem before but cannot think of the solution..

Make sure you dont move anything whilst doing it..

all i did was download the program from your link, then when i double click the dslazy icon to load it up, thats when i get the error.

i tried DSBUFF as well, same error.

is it possable for someone to post the patched version, or send me a copy?

Make sure the folder contains everything That I posted in it..

What pc do you have?? Should have asked that before.. What OS are you running?? Windows or MAC

If not, restart your pc and try again...

it worked perfectly, i can now play sonic chronicles..... and thats exactly what i am going to do.

Curley, after you've patched it with arm7 can you still trim it?

i guess you can try.. I havent tried it before but if you can, let me know how it goes.. Just make a back up before hand..

Well Sonic seems to be trimmed to it's minimum after the arm7 patch (124.4 Mb) and DropCast (arm7patched) is 200 Kb larger than the trimmed DropCast by itself.

This is using Rominator 2008.17

alright i'm having a problem. currently trying to get Sonic Chronicles to work. I have no$gba-w_2.5c as my rom but my problem isn't even there anyway.

i go through the entire process properly and everything works fine up until the max overload. whenever i try to open the new patched rom with max overload i get an error message and it shuts down. what did i do wrong?

Probably just compatibility issues, yo, you can't really fix that.
