You can indeed! After you execute nzone.exe, there will be a file named nzone.macs in the same directory as nzone.exe. It will contain either 16 or 256 MAC addresses (depending on whether you chose BASE16 or BASE256), where the 16 are what I believe are the "Prime" MACs (4e:53:50:4f:4f:40 through 4e:53:50:4f:4f:40) while the 256 range is everything from 4e:53:50:4f:4f:00 to 4e:53:50:4f:4f:ff.
For anybody that still uses attwifi and has a way to install .cia files (only using a Gateway card, that I know of, unless you're using a CFW on 4.x) and wants to fix your Nintendo Zone, I have a solution for you.
Grab 3dnus
Download titleid: 000400DB00010502 Version: 12288
Check the block for spoofing version. Spoof version: 15361 (as of FW 9.5 the version is 15360, so adding one will permit you to install the old one)
Install resulting .CIA to your 3ds
Reboot
Profit!
Ugh @ Nintendo for not letting us use encryption any more with the latest fw. I had wondered why everything stopped working. Will need to figure something else out now. Don't want to give people access to my Network.
Ah, I see. Well, in any case--the MAC ranges it uses are above if you want them for MACycle or something.
4e:53:50:4f:4f:40 through 4e:53:50:4f:4f:40 (16 MACs)
4e:53:50:4f:4f:00 through 4e:53:50:4f:4f:ff (256 MACs)

It's not that they're "working" I believe--they're just addresses that other people using nzone.exe with BASE256 will be using too.
That's all that matters: two people hit the same SSID that uses the same MAC address, and presumably that's how the 3DS units check for other units on Nintendo's side. None of these addresses used by nzone.exe or HomePass in general are "real" per se: 0x53 0x50 0x4f 0x4f 0x46 is totally made up I believe, being an encoding of "spoof". The only reason these addresses work is because everyone's already using them.

Anyone's relay not working for them any more?
Mines been working for like last month or two and the last few days it's been on but haven't gotten any passes. I'm using the windows method with nzone.exe.
:\ Yep, same exact problem here. Created an account on here just because of this. I've noticed ConsoleNintendo3DS's connection is no longer receiving any data/packets, despite nothing changing on my end -- and I have no idea why.

I was just trying to set up ConsoleNintendo3DS spoofs with the windows nzone.exe solution this past weekend. I was able to get some hits (as recently as last night, on prime macs with final octet :4a, :4e, :49, and :47), so at the very least I can say that while my setup isn't working well, ConsoleNintendo3DS was still alive as of 2015-03-01 08:00 UTC.
However, given the convincing assumptions that the 3DS is just calling out to a NintendoZone lookup service of some kind using the router's SSID and MAC as a means to look up other people who have visited that NintendoZone, it would not seem to be difficult for Nintendo to simply blacklist the entire 4e:53:50:4f:4f:xx MAC range (or even just the prime macs on :40-:4f) in order to throw a wrench in HomePass.
On a side note, ultimately I gave up on ConsoleNintendo3DS and nzone.exe because after a couple cycles, nzone.exe would lose the ability to enable/disable the Wi-Fi adapter and start/stop the hostednetwork. Worse yet, during this process our 3DSes at home lost the ability to connect to our access point, and eventually my windows machine's Wi-Fi adapter could connect only with "limited" access. Neither power cycling the AP nor rebooting the 3DSes or Windows box helped. I eventually fixed it by factory-resetting the AP, but I might not try the nzone.exe solution again.
WARNING: Note all guides work for all devices, I and the tutorial maker are not responsible for any bricks or ponys coming out from your device! Do at your own risk. If some guide works and it isn't listed please PM ME so I can add it to the list
Before beggining some important things:
You only streetpass with the same relay once every 8 hours, however you can change your mac at any time to one of those in the list.
Please try to use the mac's on the spreadsheet.
Don't cycle through all the macs in just 10 min, leave 30 min between mac changing so the next person who connects to you doesnt always get your mii.
Try to enable streetpass on all the games you have to get the best experience.
Also it has been confirmed that the ssid DOES mater so use attwifi ALWAYS.
1. Install: wifi_tether_v3_3-beta2.apk
2. start the app
3. Go to Settings and
3.a) change Device Profile to: Auto
3.b) change Setup-Method to: Auto
3.c) change SSID to: attwifi
3.d) check on Mac Address Spoof
3.e) Change Mac address to one of the list found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AvvH5W4E2lIwdEFCUkxrM085ZGp0UkZlenp6SkJablE&toomany=true
3.f) check Wifi-driver reload and Wifi-driver reload 2
4. Go back, tab on the Wifi. Now you have Streetpass relay.
For S2:
1. Wifi tether 3.3-beta2
2. Device-Profile: Samsung Galaxy S2
3. Setup Method: Auto
4. Send Netd Max Client CMD: checked
5. SSID: attwifi
6. Channel: 1
7. Mac Address Spoof: checked
8. Wifi-driver reload: unchecked
9. Wifi-driver reload 2: checked
10. Enable Access-Control: checked
11. MSS clamping: checked
12. Routing-fix: checked

1) Download Hex Editor. You must root your device to use this app.
2) With HE, go to /pds/wifi/wlan_mac.bin
3) Open and change MAC address
4) Reboot device
5) Share 3G with Hotspot Mobile(default app). SSID= attwifi - Security= Open
dicamarques and/or duke_srg, Maybe you two know.
I have a router that doesn't work with the relay. I get all 0's with maccheck. It's my new router, actually.
My old router still works, (as far as I'm aware).
Anyway, is it possible, to plug my old router into the new and get a streetpass that way?
I've been using the Linux VM for a while now, and while I can say it doesn't work for a 4.5 console (it sees the Nintendo Hotspot but no StreetPasses) it works fine with my 9.0 New 3DS. However, it caused my 9.0 New 3DS to auto download the latest system update while it was in sleep mode, shouldn't you add blocking against this since it's a Linux VM? You can do loads of things to prevent this, like iptables etc.
You mean by someone else? Probably not. I'm a crazy mofo since I got a hard mod. I'll try anything without fear.
I don't know why people are getting problems. I still get street passes at home. I don't even use any program or rotating tool. I just switch MAC addresses manually as I need them (I use Fatmagic's spreadsheet for shirt colors and what not...

I made an emuNAND backup and tried it yesterday. By installing the CIA, I can successfully get Nintendo Zone flashing again with internet access, so cheers. However, I personally have never been able to get MACycle working, so I don't know if I can get Streetpasses.
I'm going to be setting my home street pass relay point up tonight. I will be doing this on a windows 8.1 pc. Can someone tell me what the best way to do this is?
Also regarding the tool to cycle Mac addresses what is the best and easiest method?

Ok so can anyone confirm... Does street pass currently work or not? I wish the first post was up to date. I've managed to get nzone.exe working but not getting street passes.
Homepass works perfectly fine here with the latest EU FW and with NZ@McD1 as SSID without encryption, but using MAC as a somewhat security measure. I use an OpenWRT router behind my main router as NAT that should prevent any problems. But I understand that not everyone has the stuff to do that properly. The moral of the story is, it still works fine (using it to get more lives in Pokemon Shuffle )
Yeah, it sounds like it's working fine for people using other methods (other hardware or other setups). But some of us using the nzone.exe method are not getting anything. I just wish I had other options at the moment. The VMware method doesn't work for me either; I don't know anything about Linux to be able to figure out why.
