How to access the famous Deep Web. (And be anonymous)

There has been A LOT of talk about the Deep Web but most people don't even know what it's about.
Today we will discuss how to get onto the Deep Web and some cool sites you can check out.

Step one: Install Tor
Choose the OS you use
Tor (WINDOWS)
Tor (LINUX)
Tor (MAC)

Install it

Step two: Run the Tor Browser

Step three: You're done!!!

Step four: PROFIT

Additional info: This is only to access the deep web to be truly anonymous go and get the Linux Distro Tails

Now that you're on Tor you can access the famous Deep Web

(REMOVED LINKS DUE TO CONTROVERSY)

I see a lot of people thinking my guide is bad. I may add that this is to ONLY access the deep web. You should have a VPN and/or a proxy to make sure you're TRULY anonymous. This is just a guide to accessing the deep web and not how to be anonymous. I hope i am not misunderstood on this subject and I have given out helpful info.

There's nothing inherently wrong with TOR or the deep/dark web. How it's used is how the problems come into play. If we, as a group of people who aren't looking for drugs or child porn, find a good purpose for the dark web, we can legitimize the whole system. Good technology is abused; that's the world we live in, but don't let that mentality scare you away from something that could be genuinely helpful/useful.

Who knows, with the way copyright law is going these days, there may come a time that GBAtemp is ONLY available via TOR, having been shut down in its traditional form.

Tor is not anonymous it never has been its all a giant honey pot with open nodes, not even a VPN can help.
Actually a VPN is a good way to help.

Lol doesn't ISIS use the dark net? Providing a tutorial on how to get into a place where child porn, terrorists, and hirable assassins are not hard to find seems like a horrible idea for a noob/children 'ridden' site.

It take's A LOT of time to find any of those sites. I haven't even stumbled on them. You would need to do A LOT of research to find them.

My early life was pretty unpleasant, so I personally can say it doesn't. Things like the hidden wiki make finding things like that pretty streamlined. The ease of finding some of that stuff bothers me. Though it certainly requires some intent/curiosity. Both of which can be dangerous.

That's all it takes and with the giant honey-pot that is TOR your curiosity can easily become a police raid and a ruined life.

Don't use facebook or gmail/yahoo/etc with TOR.
They'll lock your account and you'll have to verify yourself with a phone number or something.

The question is what there is on the deep web that you would want to visit that isn't illegal shit.
It seems interesting but I have no need to be on there.
You also can't forget things like Intel Exchange which contains mild things (Some illegal crap) Or wiki leaks. If you want to have a good dose of the scare and the safety of not getting the cops to murder you i would watch SomeOrdinaryGamers deep web exploration. It does have some harsh language and isn't for the faint of heart but will not get you arrested :P . If anything is a bit too dark they will either not review it or censor it. They have a sonic and tails wiki on the deep web. Remember not everything you hear on the internet it true, there are many misconceptions about the deep web, just as much as there is messed up stuff there is there's always some kooky fun thing around the corner.

EDIT: I mean my site is on the deep web. And it's not about child porn and terrorism.

Wow, looks like some people believed the fox news stories, or worse they thought CSI Cyber was remotely close to reality, covering the whole TOR/"deep web" thing. Though at the same time the counter arguments are not great either -- TOR is a proxy, not all proxies are equal (see X forwarded for) and if you have a fast free VPN then great but you are probably paying for it with a credit card which is 50 times easier to track than IP addresses.

Anyway it is a proxy service, has its failings but all things do. Is also a means to access websites on servers theoretically hidden from you, and theoretically law enforcement too, and people use them as such. Probably a bit overkill to bypass work and school internet filters, though if the points work in your country then it is not a bad way to dodge state level filters for piracy sites (though most of those have simpler workarounds) and other such things.
I can think of things I would sooner learn about computers but at the same time it is worth knowing at least a few things here.

I don't believe fox news or some dumb cyber drama. I've BEEN there. I don't recommend exploring it to anyone unless you have to.

Even if this was a forum for kids rather than one that some happen to visit from time to time then it would still be OK. In the of spirit of guns don't kill people, rappers do people kill people it is just a tool.

Alternatively I think my rule of thumb of do whatever the opposite of what funnystory's moralising is saying this time is still good.
