Except there are so few DSi-exclusive carts, that it hardly matters one way or the other (also, are these games even any good?). Multiple DSi ware titles can already be carried around on a single DSi without having to change any media, so what exactly would be the point of carrying it around on a microSD and flashcart instead?

Honestly, the main reason I'm hoping Nintendo doesn't make it unhackable (or effectively unhackable, anyway), is for abilities that my DS flashcart give me like running Pokemon Distributions for my games. Living in Canada, that's been a real plus for me as I have no other way to access the events, and I don't like using Action Replays. If there's never a way found to dump 3DS carts (with the same kind of ease DS carts can be dumped using a slot-2 device) and run the ROMs on a 3DS, I'll be quite dissapointed.

I always buy the games I really enjoy and play a lot anyway, so the only other trouble having no 3DS cart would cause me is having the inconvenience of having to carry around a few more carts with me on-the-go.

I've gotten too used to having access to Pokemon Distributions to go without them now, though

When people want something really, really bad and have no patience in waiting for it and no control over whether it will even exist at all (like a 3DS flashcart) they have to release their anxiety in the form of stupid questions or they will go crazy. It's self-therapy.

Guess away, How long do you think it will take for a flashcart to be released on the 3ds?
The time is getting nearer (around Christmas this year) and I'm thinking on buying a 3ds, anyone thinking on buying it day one as well?


I'm throwing 4 months till we see any short of cart development...
