As someone who is going to change my name, I am actually interested in this thread as well
I've always wondered why people change their name, it's a hassle, in some states, you have to pay. If people like another name better, they could just go by it, unless you were some psycho murderer who needs a restart or someone who has a really bad history with their name, I don't know why people do it

Always ask either the embassy of the countries your passports are from about what the deal is with either, or if you have access to it a properly accredited lawyer that specializes in laws of all involved nations. In most cases you can probably show both and whoever checks them picks the one that's relevant, people with dual citizenship are pretty common and people change last names pretty often, so I doubt you'll get a clerk that never had to deal with a situation like that.

Would probably still be a good idea to update both passports to the new name as soon as possible so you can avoid the hassle entirely.

Getting married, it's often traditional to take ones last name. Therefore you have to change the name in passports as well.

$60 for a game that's a decade old might be unheard of on PC but actually is not uncommon on consoles

especially Nintendo because they only ever lower the price of games when they do a greatest hits/platinum hits/players choice re-release

@The Real Jdbye, and the HD collections released for 7th gen consoles too

but they don't seem to have done any of those for the switch yet and maybe never will

@The Real Jdbye, tbh the HD collections are more justified since they include more than just 1 game per copy

@SylverReZ I read that non-binary people identify as a blend of male and female. The point is i think i'm a blend of those and thus non binary
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Non-binary people are those who don't identify themselves exclusively as male or female.

I don't identify as anything, unless I need to get on a plane then I show ID
