So I am trying to see if I can mod a 3DS XL (Old Version), and I followed these steps:
Truth is I followed the part with Mario Kart 7's streetpass, restarted the console, and pressed the HOME settings button which leads me into a blank screen. I have everything setup. What should I do?

Don't follow video guides. I for one am not going to sit around for eighteen minutes trying to figure out what this video got wrong.

Just follow https://3ds.guide . (You can even try the brand-new method that doesn't require Mario Kart 7 at all.)
