The big day has arrived! Vita hacker TheFloW has released his new Vita exploit, h-encore. The exploit works on all firmware versions on 3.65 to 3.68 and can be used offline without an internet connection (you will need an internet connection to install it).

User-friendly instructions for installing the exploit can be found at vita.hacks.guide. The exploit requires a PC to install it.

I maybe missing something obvious but I’m still unclear after reading the repo if coming from enso on 3.65 and installing h-encore, would I keep enso on 3.68 level?

You cannot keep enso on 3.67 and above. Stay on 3.65.

And people were losing vitashell/molecular shell left and right with the old 3.60->3.65 Enso installer, which was relatively easier to install. God bless their soul if they try this.

Well I must say it is a lot easier to use then previous henkaku but think I will be staying at 3.65 wich still provides me coldboot with Enso but good for the people who couldn't hack their consoles previously

Another question, is it safe to update from 3.65 enso to ofw 3.68?
Because someone said it will brick the vita or something like that.

Most of the games requiring >3.65 are J-RPGs and a handful of Indie titles. There are a few games that are playable on lower firmware versions but newer updates force 3.67+. For people on 3.65 enso there seems to be no reason to change unless updated plugins, etc will work better with h-encore.

Installed H-encore via auto-h-encore, i'm currently on 3.65 ENSO, how should I update my vita to 3.68?
