Hacking Help. My action replay won't work on pokemon white.

I have an action replay ds media edition. It won't work on pokemon white. When I push the start button it just freezes. I searched google and it said to update it. I tried that. I downloaded both the 1.71 update and the 1.55 update. Neither one worked. It just said not an update file. I don't know what else to do. Can anybody help?

Pokemon white only works on the action replay DSi.

AR DSi only. That's what the update was for.
