Hacking Help! check if i missed something (trying to pirate games)

Hi i just really want a checklist for everything that i need to do in order to play games with homebrew, i can figure out how to do them, but im not sure exactly what i need to do, i think i got some of it down though, please correct me if im wrong. (currently on 9.9.0-26E)
1.install browser hacks
2.Get homebrew channel
3.instal emunand and backup emu&sysnand
4.downgrade emunand to 9.2
5.get "FBI"
6.load SD-card with .cia files?
7?

i don't want to come of as a spoiled brat, but i have gathered information and i just want to know if i miss something

just a small question, when they talk about 2.1. is that the original 2.1 firmware for 3ds or something else?

Yeah, you downgrade it to the "original" 2.1 firmware.

in this new process i can't find the warning that you can softbrick the 3ds if you don't format system so im guessing that's not a thing anymore?

For highest success chance possible, then yes, you should format before downgrading.

When you're down in 9.2, you should move to the new guide because the new guide start off when you're in 9.2

Because you can get important console-specific data on that firmware (OTP.bin) which lets you have CFW on updated sysNAND and be brick-proof. Read https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki
