i have been away from the scene since 5.5.1
i have a quick question
is going online is still safe ? like playing other levels mario maker on haxchi
also is there a spoof-er for 5.5.1 to act like 5.5.3??

Going online with CFW/backups has never posed a ban risk for the Wii U, you should be fine. The only reason you'd need a spoofer would be to access the eShop to download games, which you can easily do by running NNU-Patcher first. Running a previous FW doesn't really have any advantages, though, unless you're trying to use the web exploit (slightly more reliable in 5.5.1). Even in that case, you should really do yourself a favor and install Haxchi for a 100% success rate and then update to 5.5.3, cause why not?
