btw where canDef I have fun here
Define "fun" :ninja:

You can play games with members if you ask and they are into online I guess. You can start by making friends first, that always helps. You can either share knowledge or learn some. Basically, just participate in threads by following the rules you can find clicking here get lots of post counts, so you can access more parts of the forum like the shoutbox. Lastly you just be kind. Someone bothering you, simply ignore them or report them.

Usually fun is possible but is hard to know what you consider fun and by the limitations of a forum we don't have like games to play here. I usually submit a game review here that's fun for me. But everyone is different. Just try being active if you can. :yayswitch:

Hello Welcome. Ah, Sailor Moon.

I just recently watched this Sailor Moon TV special from the 90's.
Really interesting how people thought of Anime in the 90's when it was not that popular. And what they thought of Otaku's. They called them Information Junkies because they were addicted to information. And according to the Special Female Otaku's don't exist.

I will try to be as active as I can.
Can you please be my friend.
Sure, can always try, that's what matters right? Try your best. But don't let it stress you out. If you need time away, there is the log out button for a reason. Everyone need space, don't have to always be here. :P

There's an interview with Naoko Takeuchi fresh out of college in that special. Sailor Moon made her rich. She was banking and driving Ferrari's and Porsche's to work.

I have Nostalgia for Sailor Moon too, mostly from friends and family, and I would watch it when they watched it.
I like the Super Nintendo Sailor Moon Beat Em Ups. They are no Streets of Rage or Final Fights but they were ok.

I have nightmares with "owo", either serial killers (to put it in perspective) or weirdos (that do love attention)

Anyway, have a good day, behave here. And do your best.

I do indeed run Linux, in fact several call me The Linux Queen. I have been running Linux-distros independently for for well over 12 years now and I haven't ran Windows on any of my computers since I started using Linux.

EDGE OF THE FORUM.

It does use systemd. It's rather difficult to get a decent systemd-free distro these days.
What's everyone's beef with Systemd? Sure, it started out kinda bad, but it's gotten better, and is far more efficient.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
