Can I use a sata to usb connector to connect my slim hdd to a pc instead of using a transfer cable? also could I use a sata to usb connector as a transfer cable on the console itself?
I've tried it with no success.
If you want to do it simple, get a transfer cable.
It's way easier then constantly screwing open the HDD case and fucking around with it.
Besides their only a couple of quid on ebay so why not pick one up ;]

Which question are you answering? the one about connecting my hdd to pc or xbox? Because I don't really need to connect it to xbox I can just stick it in. I'm trying to put the emulator partition on a third party drive.

Official ones tend to be the best for both connecting to PC (with various tools) and HDD-XboxHDD transfer.
Less of an hassle.
But feel free to try of course.
I'd still suggest getting a transfer pak, saves you a lot of trouble ;]

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
