Changing the time and date and stuff in your save is irrelevant. The time and date is all based on the system's date and time, which can be changed to be anything you want. You could change it so you were playing on January 1st, 2000 if you wanted.

My point is also that they would just ban you anyway, because that is one of the way to detect people playing before release date. Sure, they'll ban a few legitimate users in the crossifre, but would they care ? They already didn't care about legit people in this ban wave anw (as some of the posts in this thread stated).
They won't ban you for start date. I promise.

Also: We SHOULD be able to patch the ram on the fly with Luma Code.bin. Trying to figure it out myself. Damn is it tough.

Wow, that's pretty fucked up. I wonder if they can call Nintendo, and tell them they bought the 3DS used, and maybe have them unban it.

Also, I love how he blames Nintendo, and not his stupid ass fault for going online in an unreleased game

Yeah just had another report of this different error code. I suppose they have a server-side database.

took it one step further.
I previously copied the entire file from unbanned to banned and it work.
Now I only copied the last 8 from unbanned to banned, didn't work.
002-0121

The data in the file likely has to correspond to the last 8 digits.

This probably means the whole file is sent to the server and the signature is checked there.

And who are you to promise that ? Their CEO ?
Just like many people on here were so sure about "not getting banned by playing before release".
If you want to be "sure", then you can't take any chance.
NO because start date is tied to the internal DS clock. I could start a new game in 2099 if I wanted to, legit no hacks.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
