When big N will release an update you can update your rednand and continue enjoying online games while keeping your sysnand on 5.5.1.

Last night, setting up redNAND worked like a charm. Only problem I had was the time redNAND took to setup after the dump, since I have no patience. But no actual problems for me!

From what i understood it s an eprom on the wiiu, different from the sysnand, that is also beeing updated with console update.

Updating that without updating the sysnand would result in a brick.

So if you update your rednand, it will also update the SEEPROM and you ll brick.

Specialists do not hesitate to correct me if i m wrong

The reason that there's so many votes for that is because that was the only "NO" option for a little bit... I added another one which didn't brick and it's growing a lot bigger.
