I remember seeing some videos to promote what looked like an external device you plugged a 360 DVD drive into, and it could read the keys and then prepare firmware to flash on it. It also seemed to be fairly good at auto-detecting, and at least had the programming in place to read the slim 360 DVD drive keys (even though the video also showed that they didn't have firmware ready to flash to said drives yet). So uh... has this thing been released or what?

Likewise liteon hacking got about 50 times easier (no more pin lift of MRA/cuts) with pogo ma thoin (which is but a simple tweak on some of the first gen liteon stuff in some cases) and there have been rumblings of developments in the slim beyond the already in testing LT+.

Interesting times really but we have not kept up around here it seems.
