i picked Guitar Hero simply for Guitar Hero:Metallica that game beats Rock Band Beatles anyday =P

Rock Band. Love TB:RB and much prefer RB and RB2 over GH:WT. The drums on GH:WT seem to be really boring mainly consisting of Yellow cymbal hits.

The company that started GH was Harmonix and Activision killed the franchise. HMX then made RB. Harmonix has always made quality games so Rock Band wins it for me

Rock Band has a wider variety for DLC, and the interface's simplicity is just more pleasing to the eye. Guitar Hero has not been good since GH2, which was made by the people who created Rock Band.

Personally, I like geometric shapes with rounded corners, so I seem to be in the middle on this one...

But if I had to choose, I'd go with RockBand as they seem to have a wider variety in song selection.

I love GHWT and its spinoffs aesthetics and setlists; likewise, RB draws me in with a solid setlist, DLC, and upcoming Pro Mode.

So both for me!

Rock Band, I just like the setup and the way it's played much more. However, I prefer to use the Guitar Hero controllers while doing so.

They each have their pros and cons. I say both. Each game is well developed with great songs (some releases better than others) but overall with the improvements that Guitar Hero has made they are right on par with Rock Band.

Rock Band, there are too many GH games out there with more to come :/
Plus RB has music I've heard of.

Rock Band. It has a better music selection in my opinion, and plays smoother from what I've personally seen.

I like Guitar Hero games as well (GH2 was my favorite), just not as much.
