Hacking [Guide] How to install/use NTR "CFW" (cheats/real time saving)

I know this post is a couple of years old, but I'm confused on this. I've installed the NTR CFW following the instructions, I run it, it says to hit home to return to menu, I hit home, try to load a game, and it makes me close NTR CFW to launch the game which disables the X+Y menu in game. I'm on an old 3ds, and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or not.

This guide was ok.. There were a few gripes like for instance.. the link for NTR, when you follow it there is no cia until you scroll kinda far down.. THen it didnt even work for me it said unable to recognize firmware and failed to boot.. Im not really sure what to do now but im gonna keep at it...

Edit: I think since i Updated my firmware to 11.9.0-42U and the "latest" version of NTR on that link is for 11.6... I am gonna guess that is my problem...
As for your link in case of firmware issues... Would an OLDER version really solve my problem? thats

Well I am seriously confused right now. So I just tried to install the latest NTR and was hoping to try out some cheat plugins. I have BootNTR.cia installed to root, also ntr.03ds.bin (since I am using older 3DS) but when I try to launch the NTR app from home screen I get an error screen. See attached.

This isnt really the thread you want for this. But you can check out this one https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-bootntr-selector.432911/ which has a up to date launcher for the NTR codes you want to use.

Can someone tell if this NTR CFW got any update after 2017? The last release was in 28 Jul 2017...
I have this plugin wth 3.2, 3.3 and 3.6 and some cheats doesnt work, the boot screen stays in 3DS logo forever... (tryng Shovel Knight and Azure Striker Gunvolt plugins)

When I open BootNTR I get `ERROR: unknown FIRM, access-checks could not be patched`

the latest release doesn't include a .cia, am i supposed to download one from an older release or do i just not get the .cia?
Also, I get the unknown FIRM error too

Does this also work with DS(i) software? I'm gonna see for myself anyway but if anyone can tell me earlier then it will save me some time.

Okay so, apparently it doesn't work. I got the same error where it tells me to press X if I want to start ram dumping (?).
I'm using a New 3DS XL and I even tried the other link but that was for an even older firmware (I believe it said something like 10.X). Is this a dead project now? If so, that's pretty sad considering I almost was able to record gameplay without a capture card.
Welp, I'll have to save up for a capture card now.

It has been updated to work with the latest firmware that I know of right here but it's broken with the official luma3ds you'll have to use what they mention in the build cfw luma 3DS 3-g X loader build
