so i was waiting to get picked up after school
and i see my dad drive by (i only know its my dad when the back of the car is facing me, so he was driving away. too late)
and im confused. well. kinda. cuz normally i walk to this building to the far left of the school
and i didnt walk there yet
because my parents usually come like..half an hour late
and id rather not wait there. so i wait with my friends somewhere near the center of the school
anyways. i see him drive by
i dont have my cell phone either cuz i left it at home today
so i borrow my friends. call my dads cell. no one picks up.
call home. no one. call my mom. goes directly to voicemail..
so i walk on over to the left side of the school
and wait a few mins. and well, i just assumed my dad wasnt coming back
so i get up and walk to the right of the school
to find someone else with a cell phone since my friend left
nope. no one.
and i walk back to the left part of the school, find the office, and borrowed this strangers phone to call my dad
he picks up.
but he's at home.
turns out he left his cell at home too. like father like daughter no?
he tells me my mom is in downtown and when he came and didnt see me
he assumed i walked to the library or something.
so he left
and i tell him he should've waited longer blahblah
he comes pick me up
we get home
and turns out my mom also went to school to pick me up
i dunno why i didnt see her
but yeah.
when i get home
she starts yelling at me for not picking up my cell
which is at home...
and i tell her i called her and she didnt pick up
and she tells me her phone has no history of a missed call
it couldve been when i called her, she was calling me
so maybe thats why it didnt go through.
augh. so confusing
like. so many stupid coincidences that HAD to have happened.
anyways
i ended up waiting altogether an hour for my dad
lifes not fair.
