I guess the point is that the game is actually flying around the net as an installable WUP package.

Discussion doesn't and if its a leaked game you could have at least mentioned that part but by the sounds of it I'm gonna say its a fake AND a virus and stay well clear! DL it and prove me wrong!

Would have been a much cooler find if it wasn't available for 3DS and Switch.
Do you have more informations about what server this was? Or at least from what company? Cause I just extracted the title ID from the tmd file and URL surfed that on the NUS but it isn't there:

2024-01-28 10:32:04 ERROR 404: Not Found.Also Nintendos signature is missing inside of the tmd file, so this looks more like something done with NUSPacker than with the Nintendo SDK / approved by Nintendo. Is this even installable without a CFW / sigpatches?
If a fake it's a good one as the title and group IDs match perfectly with other Silver falls games, for example. Why care about all these little details most people won't even see just for a simple fake?
Still I wouldn't install it before confirmation as, well, the title.tmd file looks like done by a Wii U homebrew dev, not by Nintendo. Not saying it's impossible that the developer of the game used NUSPacker and leaked it for himself as it was too late to release on Wii U while at the same time the whole port was done already but sounds a bit unlikely.
OK, so a late DEV build which someone packaged, presumably someone who had access to it at their workplace, left the job and wanted to dump it on Internet Archive?
I really don't know but I just googled sungrand studios and it seems to be a one man company, so just a single developer, and that dude posted this yesterday on YouTube under the name of his company:
So it seems he cares more about people playing his games than about money...

I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version -

I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it! -

I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
