Google has been teasing the new Android release for quite a while. Little bits of information here and there have also hinted of new Nexus devices to be released alongside the new Android version. Well, the wait is over and Google has delivered as expected with a positive surprise to boot.
Google has just announced every major mobile product we were expecting from it this year: the Nexus 6, Nexus 9, and Android 5.0 "Lollipop." There's also something we weren't expecting—an Asus-made set-top-box called the "Nexus Player."

As was expected, Google's Nexus 6 is made by and based on Motorola's Moto X. The Nexus 9 on the other hand is made by HTC as per rumours. Both will run the new Android 5.0 Lollipop version and expected to have all the bells and whistles added with stock Android. Prices are expected to be at $649 for the Nexus 6 and $399 for the Nexus 9.
The Nexus Player is made by Asus and runs Android TV. With voice control and an optional gaming pad available for the device, I can see it replacing the Chromecast for many. Prices are from $99 and up (depending on whether you want the gamepad with the device).
Also Android L will be coming coming to Nexus devices around you from Nexus 4 onwards including Nexus 7 2012.
