Gaming Homebrew Godot porting of pre-compiled games?

Hello,
back when Renpy and Unity games started surfacing on the Switch, people found ways to use those game's engine to run other games on the switch, by modding assets and whatnot.
I was wondering if something similar can be done with Godot. I see there's a port of the engine, but from what i can tell it doesn't let you port "windows version" of games.
If said games have an existing Linux build, would it be easier?
