I just got a PSP GO and I am thinking about buying a Go Explore. Is it compatible with the PSP GO? Because I just saw pictures with other PSP models and the Go Explore.

no. even though you could launch the software via iso loading (the psp go has no reader for the umd)
the connector plugs into the psp mini usb port. the psp go uses a different (i do believe proprietary) port

imb4 PSP GO proprietary to USB Mini.
    Also, USB Mini, not Micro.

oh, and for what it's worth, the GPS is pretty great. I used mine for quite a while before phones were awesome and came with them built in

Thanks, but I don't think that I will buy an adaptor and the GO Explore. I think it's very expensive.

may i ask why do you wanted to get the gps device?
if it's to be used as a real gps, i would really say to get a phone\tablet for it.. there are free apps that really do it's job
the problem of theese gps devices is they usually stop being updated...
my friend has a tomtom gps, the maps are really expensive (i think that even the company doesn't sell maps for his device anymore) and with no updates the gps is almost useless.. he sometimes tries to use it, but the thing has so many errors, using it just sends trough places you can't go anymore.. and i can't count the ammount of times he almost get into places he can't no longuer go..

you pretty much always had to capture your own maps

it was pretty easy, and done with open maps (you basically just capture specific tiles of google maps)

What was truly awesome was MGS Portable Ops function where you scanned for wifi access points to "recruit" soldiers. The weaker the wifi signal the quicker you had to button mash to recruit the soldier. It was a fucking brilliant idea I thought. How's that for a derail?

interesting! GPS function. Never used that.
