@MichaelShawJr Yup. Everyone in my family plan has the bonus gear already, so it is better to give them away instead of throwing them away.

These codes only work in your region. I got the same error these guys are having. I created a Germany Nintendo account, thinking I could use it. The code redeemed fine, but to actually use it I would have to buy the German version of Splatoon 2, which isn't worth it since I can get the USA version of this code for a couple of dollars. Thanks Naendow for thinking of the community. You should probably redeem a code yourself so at least you have it if you ever decide to buy Splatoon 2. Then the rest, hopefully, some people from Germany will see this post and you can give them the rest.
