yes, yes, downloading it now, but whats with this 30 play bulls*** with 3DS Demo's, c'mon Nintendo, sort it out, if this rule applied to the Xbox and PS3, their would be an outcry, it's so unreasonable to have any kind of a limit on Demo's which normally only contain a single level or 2.

walking around and press R two times, you should be able to roll. i think thats what you mean.

I think it was a pretty decent demo.
Cons:
Awful framerate during cutscenes, not too bad during gameplay.
REALLY low sound i had to use my speakers and i don't usually do that with my 3DS
Moving the camera with the action buttons is really anoying. Hopefully i had my Circle Pad Pro
Pros:
Great Graphics a lot better than the HD Collection one
Great use of the 3D sometimes feels gimmicky, but it's really eye candish, also it is very strong just like Resident Evil: Revelations, SM3DLand and Ocarina of Time. Why can't more games be like this?
Not too short, it feels longer than the Resident Evil Revelations one. (Maybe if you include hell mode from that demo it's probably longer, but you get my point)


Overall you should definetly go ahead and download it.

I gave up right away because the controls were nothing like Subsistence, which is the only version I've played. Maybe it'll be better with the Circle pad+

It should be noted that this demo is not representative of the final game as it's an older build from TGS.

This could explain the current poor framerate and other issues discussed about the game. Why would they release a poor version of the demo if the point of the demo is to get people to try the game and convince them to buy it? Perhaps stressed for time etc. A bit of a disappointment if you ask me...

I am really disappointed with this 3DS port ,I played the original release on the PS2, then the improved Subsistance on PS2 as well, and recently the remastered HD version on PS3, I can tell that the 3DS is the worst version, definitively NOT getting it and may get the PSVita release instead, I think it would look and play much better than this poor port ...

But this is an OLD demo, with awful framerate on cutscenes.

Warning. My own opinion of this demo may contain heavy references to how bad it is, viewers who have faith in this game being good may find what i have to say disturbing.

Lets quickly get the good stuff out the way:
- 3D is good
- the bottom screen is nicely organised plus the TPS/FPS option is nice.

Now the bad stuff:
- Horrible framerate and the second area (with the brown sludge) really paticularly sluggish and dont even get me started on the cutscenes.
- Maybe its just me but WHY are the controls like that? Why not right trigger for first person aiming and why not when you are IN first person make the analoge to aim NOT the buttons, i went through the entire options and i could not find anything that changed the controls. Did i just miss them or is this god awful control system the only way to play?
- Graphics are simply not as good as the PS2
- The lil "notification" with the zzz and the stun icon when you shoot/hit people is stupid, why include that? the old ! and ? system was fine the way it was.
- Making the whole bottom screen glow yellow and red is distracting

I really love this game on PS2 but lets be honest, This is an awful demo and im confident the full game wont be much better.

i personally didn't find anything bad, graphics are just finet with 3D off, but with 3D on they look great

It's not at all bad, just that, it doesn't feel good.

Let's see, the textures, they are not in par with what 3DS is capable of... The rocks in the forest are weird, just look at them closely.... I also don't like the slower frame-rates. :/

It's not a bad game but just not what I would expect from a Metal Gear Solid game on 3DS. They could have done it better.... I would probably pick it up when it's on sale or I would buy it used...
