Cmon they never intentionally bricked their own users, only clones. They LITERLLY TOLD EVERYONE INCLUDING THE CLONE COMPANY that if you use their product you will brick 100%. Yet the clone cards released it anyways. In what world is that gateways problem?

It's not like they surprised anyone they warned them and the clone companies were stupid enough to do it a SECOND TIME!! I'm not saying bricking the end user is the best way to go, but blaming gateway the way your doing is just as bad

Edit: if aurora put brick code in her cfw so that only people who stole and sold her cfw were bricked no one would care simple as that. You don't steal and sell other people's work. Just like no one would be pissed at Nintendo if they bricked everyone using cfw or gateway

They also bricked their own users when their code messed up and detected any modified Launcher.dat (including a Launcer.dat modified for region free). ANY dev that bricks a device, even if its because someone used a clone, is an actual piece of shit.

I understand what your saying but again the only people who bricked using the legit card bricked using a modified launcher...which was warned don't modify the launcher.

it doesn't matter the reason, you don't try to brick consoles that can be worth $100 - $200. clones should at worst show a message saying "use only genuine Gateway cards".

That's bs, gateway cards are illegal. They shouldn't even have the right to be distributed. Clone or not.
