I downloaded chrome remote desktop so I can play games on my low power laptop using my monster desktop.
Most games work great (with about 40FPS or so), but any game that requires mouselook (first person shooters, for instance) are impossible to play since mouselook is super sensitive.

Any help?

Use Steam in-home streaming. It actually works with any game, not just games you've purchased and it works great.

If you are doing it over LAN I would suggest seeing about RDP (windows remote desktop, though such a thing might want big boy windows rather than home user). It is rather low latency, decent framerate, does sound and 3d and more besides.
