Game King

Has anyone heard of the Game King?

It's a horrible little handheld that either looks like a PSP or a GBA, depending on the model you get. The graphics are awful and most of the games are ripoffs of actual games like Bomberman or Adventure Island, complete with stolen sound, as well. The summaries of each game are pretty funny, though.

If you don't know and didn't quite understand from that little summary I included above, there are videos about it here (a review) and here (a showcase of Game King game summaries).

I've found an emulator here, but I can't figure out if it works because I can't find any Game King ROMs. I'm not asking for ROMs, by the way.....

Is there anyone who has found any Game King ROMs that can verify if that emulator works or not?

DUUUDE, its pretty cool though. The system wasn't a ripoff of anything really, unlike the POPstations. theres a video here:

I know. I found the emulator too, but no ROMs. That's why I was asking if anyone knew if the emulator worked.

That's a different Game King 2 than was shown in Ashens' video. Did they remodel it?

From what I know, there were 3 versions released:
GAMEKING 1 was pure black and white
GAMEKING 2 had a backlight, but an annoying background
GAMEKING 3 idk about it much, but it had full color this time
i think he has GK3
