Hacking FTP to Multiman is really slow.

When I'm copying games to my PS3 over FTP using an ethernet cable, it maxes out at 2.3Mbps. Shouldn't it be something like 50+?

Games take ages to copy. I am on multiman 04.70.02 with Rebug 4.70 and I have a slim.

Nope.

Keep in mind that in addition to the limitation of the controller itself (usually underpowered on most devices), the PS3 is doing encryption on top of it.

if you are going through your router, it could be why it's slow.
You can connect your PS3 directly to your computer's ethernet port.
