Hello...

I want to flash my dvd drive, now while the support for the Xbox 360 ends, and I started yesterday to get everything I need:
  • JungleFlasher
  • All firmwares
  • My old Xbox 360
  • Sata cable
  • A pc with Windows 7 64 bit
  • And a lot of patient...
I got the flasher to run and the pc to recognize the dvd drive through IDE mode but it didn't show up in Win7, but somehow the Flasher recognize the drive but not fully... I don't know. I deleted Windows 7 so I can try again with a clean install. But my question is: Did I do something wrong? Or was everything correct but something wasn't right anyways.

I got my knowledge from this post for the setup for the hardware:

And this video for the software:

Also! I don't want to buy or use the X360USB Tool/Device. As far as I understood, I can use my Xbox to flash while it's turned on.

Thank you in advance

Sounds like you need a sata PCI card, something like a vIA6421, if you don't want to use a X360USB tool.

I just would use it once, that's why I don't want to use or buy those things I don't have🥲

It is a sata card that can see, read/write to x360 drives. Not all sata ports can work correctly with x360 drives, but these do.

You'll have to be lucky and pray your motherboard has a supporting chipset.
Otherwise you'll have to get a compatible SATA controller.

Will the flasher tell me if it's supporting the drive? Like how will I know?

My boot menu recognises the drive but just Windows not. Fun fact is that the flasher also kinda recognise the drive but not as a regular drive more than a 0x0100 device... That's confusing me
That's what I would get in teh flasher:

Assuming Jungleflasher is installed correctly, no not unless you get the correct hardware.
Just a question, is it common to have this issues with a Hitachi 47 drive? I read a lot about having issues with that drive not being recognised/flashed right

Why doesn't it work then, that's very odd...

Another question, I'm sorry if I might be annoying right now. Isn't there any manual or tutorial where someone explains the process how I tried to visualise it more? Like just using the Xbox with my pc and setting up the flasher etc...? I think I followed the Flashers manual, but I want to know how the hardware needs to be connected. As far as I remember the manual tells you about the Tools like X360USB

Alright I just got everything to "work" again, like the flasher recognizing the drive somehow, bu tnow i get an error with some Information from the start of JIT-Debbuging. Whats that? can i just skip that? The details tell me that Jungleflasher and sytsem programms/ files try to access the "saved" storage...

Hellow again... I'm back with another problem 😢.

Does anyone know what the Error 3-57-00 means while trying to play a burned game? My regular og games work but only my burned one not. It's a XGD2 game (Sonic Unleashed PAL).

Also if that might help my Consoles Firmware is Version 2.0.17559.0

Thanks again

Edit: I also just checked the disc with ABGX360:
