1. Do you mean the game crashed after choosing Return to Title? That's just a picture of the menu.
2. Yes, good call on the extra period. Just an editing error there.

I patched the game and loaded a demo save file so that I could use the demo's costumes, but it has jumbled character names in mid-fight alerts (such as when someone levels up) and people's names appear as a mosh of nonsense Japanese text. Everywhere else, the name text is fine. This problem was reported a couple of times on the gamefaqs board by other users as well. Does anyone know of a way to fix this? Does anyone know of a way to unlock the costumes without loading the demo save file or mucking with cheats? People, including myself, have tried to import just the demo's system data upon starting a new game without success.

I imported my demo save file too, but I haven't encountered that problem. The team said that its a bug from transferring data from the JP demo to the EN patched game. I don't know either how it got fixed on mine but if it helps Im using 6.60 pro-c.

Oh btw, does anybody know where to find all the l'cie pyroxenes? I'm currently finding all of them

If i start a game from the patched english game i have this

If i start a 2nd demo and save at first savepoint and then load the save in the patched eng game i have this

If there is a system to load the save demo without messing names it is very appreciated. Also using the cheat i can have only the costumes and not the growth egg.

Will try to fix it. May be all needed is just a NOP sceImposeSetLanguage call.

There is no freeze or crash, just black screen and nothing more.

so game slowdowns can be fixed by reformatting? is that also true for lag in the grand hall/places where many npcs are visible? or is it just normal there?
because my game loads really fast between rooms and places (on a pspgo) and I can barely make out the loading screen info. but the game does lag in the grand hall and the fountain and sometimes in liberated cities, whenever theres many people at once.
i'm already running at max cpu speed so thats not the issue.

also, does anyone know if moglins classes raise stats for the whole group, or only for the character you're using at the time of the lesson?

This issue has already been addressed in the guide (link in my sig).

There are several lines of Japanese text stored in the save file from the demo. Using a demo save with the patched game will cause conflicts of similar data, scrambling certain texts in the game.
It is recommended that you start a new game with the patched game.

I have a question for translators. My friend told me this:

"The Ultima Bomb was thrown on Water Month, 12, 9 days after the Chapter 1 attack. In the Chapter 2 intro video it says Ice Month, 14, while in the Record section of the CC, it says Water Month, 14. Is this a translation error? How long is it since the Bomb drop? 2 days or 4 months?

Also, why in Chapter 1 it says "842, Water Month (2nd), 3", while in Chapter 2 it says "842, Ice Month (Jun), 14?''
