Anyone know why I can't get it to run on the slim PS2? It seems to launch, then just hangs at a black screen before the title screeen video. I know the game is slow to load, but this never does load even if I wait.
Using Swap Magic 3.6 to launch, since it's the 90000 slim model that won't work with stuff like FreeMCboot (although I'd still be using SM anyway most likely).
Same disc works fine on my older PS2 (v4 motherboard) also using the same Swap Magic, or even an older version of it.
Other backups work fine on the slim using Swap Magic. Original PS2 games work fine, PSX games work fine, PSX backups work fine.
I doubt the laser's bad since everything else works and the system really hasn't been used very much.
I doubt it's a bad burn since the disc works in my other PS2, and also worked for ripping the game onto my PS3 for emulation.

It's not a huge deal, since I'm playing it on the PS3 emulator (slim PS3) and it seems to run fine there, but it's just... it's annoying, why is this not working? It's just one of those little things that eats at you, ya know.
