I find myself replaying Fire Emblem: Awakening a bit. (Gotta marry all dem waifus or something) - #1 on my activity log with 122 hrs.
(Fire Emblem Echoes - Shadows of Valentia is also really good.)
Majora's Mask 3D (It's my favorite Zelda game)
Pokemon? - 80 hrs on Y, Moon about 50
Monster Hunter 4U or Generations. - 73 or 44 hrs which is about 120 hrs combined.
Super Smash Bros - #4 on my activity log with 100 hrs.
Fantasy Life (surprisingly fun) - 54 hrs
Animal Crossing New Leaf - 64 hrs

The 3ds library is kind of lacking for me. Any recommendations I have you've probably already played. But just in case..

Any Zelda games
Resident evil revelations
That metroid spinoff
Pokémon
Kirby
..etc

Honestly I use my 3ds for vc more then anything else.

As we're looking into activity logs:
FE Awakening: 154 hours
AC: New Leaf: 106 hours
FE Fates: 82 hours
Bravely Default: 72 hours
Pokemon X: 70 hours
Fantasy Life: 66 hours
Shin Megami Tensei: Overclocked and Records Breaker
All Ace Attorney games
The Zero Escape games

I enjoyed all of those.

Animal Crossing New Leaf
Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer
Fire Emblem: Awakening and Echoes
(wouldn't reccomend Fates unless you're desperate to play all Fire Emblem games)
Kirby
Most Mario
games as a pass time
Yo Kai Watch
Professor Layton
(all 3ds ports are good)
Phoenix Wright (Trilogy, Spirit of Justice and vs Layton)
Kingdom of Hearts Dream Drop was okay.
Inazuma Eleven 3 Lightning Bolt is also an okay game.
Tomodachi Life
Smash
Rythm Paradise
Pokémon games
(for character customization I'd go for Sun/Moon)
I think that's all I can think of right now?

I could whip out my 3DS and have a look at my games and post a long list with every must-have (in my opinion) for the 3DS, but that would take too long. So instead I'm just going to post some of my favorites that haven't been mentioned by others (in no particular order)
Mario & Luigi Dream Team
Bravely Second
Paper Mario Sticker Star
Zelda Triforce Heroes (single player is too tedious, great fun in multiplayer though)
Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World (I only played it on Wii U, but great game nonetheless)
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D (Only played this on Wii though)

And here are some other good games:
Rhythm Thief
Tales of the Abyss
Cave Story 3D (most people hate this version, but I rather enjoyed it)

Maybe I'll think of some more later.

Here are my recommendations:
- Monster Hunter 4U (generations is just blah, too many new mechanics introduced and not a coherent storyline)
- Fantasy Life (light rpg/whatever)
- Rune Factory 4 (harvest moon + dungeon exploring, what else do you need? Kind of reminds me of Fantasy Life too)
- Resident Evil Mercs (the physical game is ridiculous, only one save file that you can't delete by normal means, although)
- Pokemon? I like Sun/Moon a lot for the new storyline and pokemon
- Kirby Robobot (fun, but doesn't feel like classic kirby)

E-Shop Only Titles:
- Gunman Clive (old school jump and shoot platformer with fun bosses)
- Binding of Isaac Rebirth (seriously, I spend more time playing this than dealing with anything else)

Codename Steam: lost count of hours.
Fantasy Life: 1000+ hours
Pokemon games: time would probably be more in the years category and not hours.
LBX is pretty good

I recently installed Attack of the Friday Monsters! a Tokyo Tale.
As someone who loves story above all else, this game is really worth checking out and apparently (not applicable to those using CFW to gain games ofc) it's a pretty rare game I believe.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.
  • Veho @ Veho:
There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
