Hi all,
My right joycon was going crazy, spamming button presses on its own randomly.
Initially I removed the PCB n resoldered some components with a hot air station just to see if I could solve anything before throwing it to the bin.
Not only it didn’t solve anything, but the joycom died completely.
So I decided to get a “new” PCB from AliExpress (which was pretty dumb as I could have gotten a used n complete joycon for about the same price), got the PCB yesterday, reassembled the joycon, n same thing, no leds, n the switch doesn’t detect the joycon when plugged into it.
Battery voltage was 3.3V, I left it on the switch over night n it now has 4.1V.
Any thoughts on what I should check further?
I either got a faulty pcb from AliExpres, or it’s some other component, which unfortunately I have no spares of to change...
What is the minimum amount of things that need to be connected to the pcb for it to work? Like shoulder button, ir camera, etc?
