Hello! Recently I decided to get back into playing F-Zero, so I did just that. My disc soon enough started encountering loading issues, where the screen would stay black while the menu music continued to play. I assumed my disc to be damaged, despite it looking fine for the most part. So I decided to instead download and play a backup, using DIOS MIOS. My loading issues were gone! But I soon encountered another problem... the game spontaneously freezing, then automatically resetting. I assumed this to be a DIOS MIOS problem, and tried my disc again, reinstalling the Wii's original MIOS to do so. And... the freeze/reset occurs at the same exact spot. Now, the only thing I can think of is that my Wii is simply incompatible with the game for some reason. Has anyone else experienced this? Could this be related to any IOS's I have installed? Would a syscheck help? (I'm away from my computer...) Thanks!

You have a bad ISO, and probably a scratched disc. I recommend obtaining a clean ISO from another copy or elsewhere

Try ejecting your memory card first though, I have a hunch that may have something to do with your issue, but like I said, it's a hunch.

Huh. That works. I always thought that bad .ISO's wouldn't load at all. I was proven wrong. Thanks!
Oh, and the problem wasn't memory card related, obviously enough.
