So I've recently picked up a PS tv and have it succesfully set up with a SD2Vita and was wondering if it would be possible to, in addition to the SD2Vita, mount a hard drive as uma0 for ps1 psp and games for the emulators.

Yes!

Format to exfat and cluster size of 64k.

If using HDD, use a powered USB hub or is own power source.

You can mount in VitaShell until you turn it off, or you can try automounting it with StorageMgr or YAMT permanently.

(I've had bad luck autoloading 3.5" HDD as ux0 - might be fine as uma0, but smaller 2.5"HDD seem to work and all other USB 2.0 compatible drives)
