Thank you!! But I can't play  I had downloaded desmume version 0.9.7 I have tried last version of too but when I want to talk or look (a boy or a place) I can't do anything, I can see the boys in the map but I can't select them (it happens the same with the game without the patch, in japanese). Maybe is the configuration of the emulator, I don't know T.T

You just have to click the Talk or Look button twice. :D Hope it'll work this time.

Congratulations on releasing the patch!! I haven't played this game for a while, and it's thanks to this game that I started reading Prince of Tennis, haha.

Thanks so much for this c: Though I am actually having a problem with the patching process. I'm using xdelta and it comes up with an error message saying 'The system cannot find the file specified'.
Help?

Help?

You can just drag the clean ROM gakupuri to the GakuPuri light patcher.
no need for the xdelta.

Someone mentioned this problem in another game;
http://gbatemp.net/threads/unfinish...-translation-patch.357438/page-2#post-5064667

He said he solved it by running the program as administrator.
Well I fixed that. All I had to do was run as administrator, I guess.

What do you mean by 'run as Administrator'? i'mdumb
Edit: I figured out how to run as Administrator, still doesn't work.

Then you might have to explain the process you did so someone who might have experienced the same issue can help. Include information such as your operating systems (Ex. Windows 7, Windows 8, etc.) and screenshots of your process would help.
http://www.take-a-screenshot.org/

Or go to Google.com and type the error message you got, and then your operating system. Look through the results to see if any of them will solve your problem. (This is what I do when people post their problems, so you can actually search for the solutions yourself. ^_^)

I assumed that your operating system is Windows. Have you tried the LightPatcher patch?
https://sites.google.com/site/otomeundercover/otome-projects/gakupuri-ds#TOC-Patch-Download
You can just drag and drop the ROM on it and it'll do the job for you.

Otherwise, if you could show me the files you selected for Patch, Source File, and Output file, that would be useful information.

Also, you can do HashCheck for your ROM just in case.

I've tried LightPatcher; my computer won't let me open the file because my anti-virus pops up saying that it's a suspicious file, so I have no choice but to use xDelta.

Could it be that you didn't unzip xDelta program properly? You can try unzipping the folder again. Or try to download the program again from here; http://www.romhacking.net/utilities/598/
(You need to unzip or unrar the whole program folder. I could reproduce your error when I run XdeltaUI.exe without xdelta.exe.)
Your xdeltaUI should have files like this and with the exact same sizes.

Ex. Make sure you have xdelta.exe at the same place where your xdeltaUI.exe is.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    but that's a long shot

i think only the red mario kart edition phat was v5

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
