ROM Hack editing save file for fantasy life (help)

Hello so I just created a backup save file for my game Fantasy Life using DiskwriterV202b1 and I would like to edit the save file using this https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-fantasy-life-save-viewer-editor.374495/. The file i got though is .save and not .fds is there anyway I can change it?

nah, you cant do anything with that extension, you need to have a ninja cubic and then run the ninjhax. put the flsave folder into the folder of 3ds and then run the save file, that is the save file to be edited.
