Well, I've installed Ubuntu, but it doesn't really like multiboot, so I set the timer to zero.... It's a school computer ^_^
I am currently installing Android on the same hardrive and partition as win 7. Android deosn't take a lot of space, and this way I should be able to install downloaded apps through windows.
From what I can see existing Market Accounts work, and you can download all apps that your specs support.

Creating a fake sd-card for the laptop to install apps too, maximum size is 2GB. Also I have to wonder if the SIM card adaptors allow you to call/text of the laptop.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! Yeah, I looked it up a while ago, but how much memory will it most likely use? I have an 8gb with 1 gb left...

For those looking, the site for Android on x86 is http://www.android-x86.org/ You can find all of the different versions of Android available there along with instructions on how to install it.

EDIT: @Zero I'd recommend you put this into the first post, that way people can check out the various Android versions and official instructions and everything.

Interesting- I might have to give this a spin in a VM (I am moving away from dual boot to remote viewing if I can) and if the interplay between android devices is heading the way people project it will I probably need to get in on the ground floor. Equally if someone winds XBMC or an equivalent in there I am sold (or at least several clients are).

Anyhow if you are struggling with dual boot I usually find easyBCD a good starting point- http://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/
I have not really tried it with windows 7 yet but it certainly works with vista.

Foxi4 was asking why- probably the same reason I have somewhat dumb terminals/low maintenance systems, application specific operating systems (things like http://biopuppy.org/ to say nothing of 90% of my PC fixing CDs) and/or things like XBMC
