Hacking DSTTi card froze in middle of firmware upgrade

Hi folks. Was trying to upgrade firmware of DSTTi card with the 3DS firmware upgrade and it froze at about 3.90%. Had to restart DS and now card is unuseable. Do not have another DSTTi at my disposal only a DSTT. Is there any way for me to fix this without another DSTTi card? Tried to start running the flash to try swap method using the DSTT card but it says card not supported by this firmware.

im asking myself if the problem come
frome people who have a bad microSD ?

For my test, i just copy the file, no format, nothing else,
copy the files, start the DSi, run the firmware on 1.17 official kernel
and i do that on two kind of original DSTTi...


You have the RED PCB with or without number on back or Green PCB ?

So i do some tests yet...

if i start the firmware to upgrade another one, like Fake or bricked DSTTi,
with a DSTTi already upgraded in 3DS... impossible to start anything
the screen come goes green to say "no need to upgrade"

if i do the same with a DSTTi in 1.4.1 with the firmware 3DS,
ok, something start, the message "press X-Y" appears,
you can switch your DSTTi...

So i put a fake DSTTi, the 0.00% appears and freeze...

But the fake DSTTi is not bricked,
because the firmware cant write in it,
maybe because it's not the same hardware address!

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure you answered my question though. My question is will I need another working DSTTi card to use swap method or is there some way that I am missing to do it with a DSTT card? Right now the only working cart I have is an original DSTT.

im not sure myself if you can start the firmware from a DSTTi
and swap it with the bricked one, and if the firmware will continue or not!

help i by mistake upgraded the dsi xl to the 1.4.3e version of course i now realise i should of left well alone and are having greef of 9 year old and wife i have gone to the dstt sight and down loaded the latest 1.4.3 fix but when i go to upgrade the firmware it says tti 143&1 44c firm ugrade loading and straight after card version not supported update the program from www.ndstt.com (green background ) what program do i update now bwwn trying for 8 hours yesterday and 5 today i am doing the upgrade on a ds that has not had the firmware upgraded as my sons does not even go to the dstt menu just black sceen with error tun off regards karl
