I went from a DS Lite to a DSi Xl and I LOVE it..I kept my DS Lite as well since it was not worth trading it in..I LOVE my DSi XL, its a great system..now if your going from a dsi to a dsi xl then it might not be worth it, but if your going from a ds lite to xl then its worth it..and I have an acekard and it works GREAT

I'd say go for an XL. It only weighs slightly more than a PSP 1000, it has nice screens, and it has a longer battery life.

And Acekard 2i is your best option.

Seriously, anyone who says the DSi XL is "too big" or "heavy" is kinda just kidding themselves. It is bigger/heavier no doubt but we are talking about inches and ounces here. Not feet and pounds.

I've got a DS lite and an XL.
And all i can say is you won't think twice once you buy the XL. Bigger screens, better speakers, better viewing angles, longer battery for $20 more dollars? I'll take it.

IF ANYTHING, you will come to say that the DSi and Lite are TOO SMALL.

DSiXL too heavy ?
What do you mean ? What do I pay my membership to the gym for ?
Unless you are a girlish girl, or an old grandma , I don't see how can you complain for a few extra OUNCES......
No pain , no gain

When I play Brain Age on the XL ( which is included by the way ) I feel I train twice as good as on the Lite.....Train your Brain and your hand grip, so next time you squeeze your your friends hand you'll torture them ..........lol

Go for the XL I made a mistake of getting the normal DSi and I feel stupid, I tried out the Xl and it totally changes the experience of gameplay with the large screens, I may get one next month if I save up enough

the two are systems are basically the same
its just i would prefer the dsi over the XL cause the XL is a little big and bulky and lass portable than the dsi
and for a flash card i would recommend ak2i hands down

I had got the DSI about two months ago and still had the receipt and box. So I just brought it back paid $20 more and got the DSI XL! I love it. Having the bigger screens is great. Only thing is my EZFVi didn't have a good connection in the slot, so I had to put a piece of paper to make it fit right. It’s odd because it didn’t have a problem with the DSI. FYI if you get Nintendo’s accessories kit the zip up case barely fits over the thing. It’s odd. But it’s worth the money for the car charger extra styles and screen protectors.

GBAtemp should be legally obligated to ban them, as its against the law to collect information from users under 13 because of COPPA. :tpi:

Back when Oculus Rift was still starting out and being demoed around, they modded existing games to use it as a 360° immersive screen thing and that was AMAZING.

The tech isn't there for affordable power enough VR headsets at a good market value yet sadly, oculus had a good idea but didn't have enough funds for marketing iirc

I think they should bring back the shutter glasses for VR put 120Hz screen in for 60FPS and even a basic phone these days can pull that off
