Does anyone know how to extract the disc channel from the wii and convert it to a wad file?

I have recently been trying my hardest to try and convert the disc channel to a wad file so i can use customize mii to the customize it and make a custom wad off of it. Thanks

If you mean the disc icon, it's probably possible, but I have no idea how. You might take a look at wii brew for the title id of the disc channel.

Looks like it's HASE then. You just have to convert that to hex to get the title id the system uses.

Ok I got your wad now how to I change the text to say disk instead of dvd and how do I make the Wii and GameCube discs visible?

Text is editable with a hex editor
not sure how to get the Wii and GameCube disc's though

How do I open it with a hex editor though do I just do open in then the hex editor?

Drag and drop into the hex editor I'd assume.

Be careful though, generally the size of something in hex must be identical or smaller, then padded.

I don't think you can change it in the wad. it's all gibberish in that context. how, I don't know.

Looks pretty good I like it!
Honestly though, not having the gamecube disc makes it look like the vWii/Wii Mini Channel which is neat
Not sure how you get the gamecube disc though

im still trying to figure that out but in the mean time im trying to extract the banner file

Huh? How did you do it tho? I attempted to opening it at Notepad++ but it's all [NUL] and ÿ!
