What do you think of Velcro inside the Dock?
I think that one will also work as beautiful as mine.
What do you think of Velcro inside the Dock?
There was space when I first got it last Friday. It wiggled around in there a good mm or two. Now inserting the Switch actually prys it apart ever so slightly. I added an amFilm glass protector but that is only .13mm thick. (Correction .3mm according to manufacturer)But there is so much space between the dock and the screen of the system when its in there. I mean you have to purposely be throwing the dock in there without care for it to slide up against it. This "issue" is one that I simply don't get.
Thanks. I'll be adding it to my Switch. The things Nintendo should've done are what their customers have to in order for the product to not get damaged. Sigh.I think that one will also work as beautiful as mine.
Its a temp solution until my screen protector arrives. Plus dust isn't really something that scratches.Confirmed by who and adding extra stuff to the rails makes the fit even tighter which would make it more susceptible to scratching if you was to get dust build up within the dock which is inevitable
Not really. One can try to be as careful as possible but without a screen protector on it it can and is bound to get scratches/scuffs on it. Nintendo really needs to release a proper Dock Station 'cause this thing is nothing more than a beta version.
The two pins at the bottom make it somewhat hard to have the Switch click in the right spot. Dock V2 needs to be released.I think it really just comes down to user error or possibly slightly bent docks. I'm not being super meticulous, but I'm also not being hasty, and I haven't felt the slightest scrape when placing the system in the dock or removing it, and the screen still looks beautiful and scratch free. I don't doubt that people are having issues, but this one definitely isn't affecting my unit personally.

Can't speak for anyone else's dock, but mine has warped inward slightly since I unboxed it. My Switch has not gotten that much thicker.

The dust that scratches glass is sand. You need to learn your manners and research better. Lint and old skin hardly can scratch anything.
how are people scratching up the console with the dock ? I use mine all the time no marks on my console.....like are ppl just not giving a crap and slamming it into the slot half drunk ?
It can and eventually will scratch your system without protection.how are people scratching up the console with the dock ? I use mine all the time no marks on my console.....like are ppl just not giving a crap and slamming it into the slot half drunk ?
Those pins at there to help make sure the Switch does click in the right spot. I am sure ther is another way to do it but I haven't had any issues with it.The two pins at the bottom make it somewhat hard to have the Switch click in the right spot. Dock V2 needs to be released.
They could have a magnet at the bottom so it'd be easier to make the connection. Those pins at there to help make sure the Switch does click in the right spot. I am sure ther is another way to do it but I haven't had any issues with it.
Another solution is to use a USB C extension cable from the dock to the Switch and never dock it. 18" to 2' should do the trick.

It has been quoted on numerous websites but only the one or 2 instances have been confirmed with pictures there's many more people me included who don't have a scratched screen I'd be interested to know how many people who are saying it definitely scratched actually has a switch also all the review units which were seen and sent out never reported this problem why do you think that is maybe because it doesn't scratch itFor the thousandth time, no. The dock is just very poorly made. A quick google search will show you. It's been confirmed, by numerous sources, that no matter how careful you are, the dock CAN scratch the screen.
And sand is everywhere so do your research too palT

If it's in your Switch dock, you done something really wrong. And sand is everywhere so do your research too pal
Sand is everywhere? If I wanted some I'd have to order online. And sand is everywhere so do your research too pal

As the switch has a plastic screen it doesn't need to be sand but a quick Google search will show house dust is more than lint and dead skin mateIf it's in your Switch dock, you done something really wrong.
Has your switch scratched scratched whilst you have used your dock?Sand is everywhere? If I wanted some I'd have to order online.
Exactly this is a pointless discussion really lol as the people saying it definitely scratches don't actually have a scratched switch it's baffling what they want to achieve with this threadOr, you know, get a tempered glass protector.
Mine is on it's way I hope Orzly are any good. Never understood why you get double once.Or, you know, get a tempered glass protector.
