Sorry if this is late, but I have written some amiibos to NFC tags, and while they work like normal amiibos, the NFC tags have become locked and cannot be rewritten with other amiibos. Did I do something wrong or is this how the method works?

No, that's how it's supposed to work

Only NTAG215 will work or can I buy NTAG203??

I found 203 easier than 215

NTAG203 has less pages of memory than NTAG215, probably won't work if Amiibo uses all the pages available to NTAG215, that's why some people are looking at NTAG216, as it's larger than NTAG215.

Ohh ok so 216 also would work right

Edit: and what about the mm, 30mm or 25mm or it does not matter?

At last check only 215 work. The size of the tag does not matter they all have the same capacity as long as they are 215. some people were some people were trying to get 216 to work but I do not know if they had any success

Lol. Those are my listings.
:creep:

The tags are also displayed in the pic atop the box for my Smash/Splat bundle. I thought all that would be a subtle enough hint for shoppers in the know.

I have trouble with Tagmo 2.1.
I get: 'Error: Source UID does not match the target'

How to get Tagmo recognize the 'key_retail.bin' ?
I only get 'Load tag file' and 'Write to tag' as actions from menu.

Got the Key recognized by Tagmo 2.1.
Get :
'Error: Error while writing main data (stage 1)
java.io.IOException: Transceive failed'

Could anyone help me, please?

Make sure NFC is turned on and then try putting the tag in different places. Mine seems to work best on the back of the phone. And be sure to hold it still.

NFC is turned on, tag in right position. I just need the retail key and the Amiibo.bin file i found on that site right? Dont need to modify the bin?

Edit:
Got those tags.

I had a similar issue, the problem was that when i was searching for the bin files I was using a file viewer called rootexplorer, if i just used the normal file explorer the issue went away. Maybe this is it?

I'll give it a try. Thank you.
