2. Used in the greatest tv show of all time The Simpsons. in the episode Hungry, Hungry Homer, bart and lisa respond to a homer inquiry with "meh". mystery solved

3. An interjection used to imply indifference towards a subject; "a verbal shrug". This particular interjection has somehow become quite popular among teens, the reason for this popularity is a mystery. Other popular interjections are "bleh", "dah", and "mih". Usu. pronounced shortly, without eye contact or body movement.
"You wanna go to the mall?"
"Meh, I have nothing to do for the rest of the day..." etc.

4. Meh is used to describe any and every word possible, including:

6. A random word when people either don't know what to say, don't care, can't answer a question or are too drunk to form a coherent english phrase.

Why so literal? I was expecting something extremely meh, some clear and good illustration of it, something that people would point at and say, "that's a textbook example of meh", "when you look up meh in a dictionary, there's a picture of this beside it". I was expecting something so bland it could make a forest fire forget what it was doing, shrug and go home. I was expecting something so neither here nor there, the Neutral Planet would seem like Caligula in comparison.
